Brief OVERVIEW of the Position
Using Avid Pro Tools and Adobe Audition, this role involves working with talent to produce drops and a weekly news segment for public radio.
Drops Refresh
This is an ongoing project that is meant to update the library of drops at The Edge. This involves finding and editing music and sound effects to fit with lines recorded by voice actors. After final approval, the drops are added to the revolving library of drops, which is broadcast regularly.
News Segments
This weekly project involves meeting with a journalism student to turn the week's news into a polished product to be broadcast on The Edge. Segments are edited for timing and newsworthiness and involve vocal cleanup and processing.
